Harry Potter Party at Amazon Bookstore

Hey Gang --

The very last book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is coming out July 21st. Like many other book stores, Amazon Bookstore will be having a midnight release party. If your own favorite bookstore is doing a Harry Potter party, you might want to go to that. If you don't have another Harry Potter party that you are planning to go to, you might want to consider this one.

Amazon is a little independent bookstore on 48th and Chicago in South Minneapolis. They do a fabulous job with their Harry Potter parties, often spilling the party out onto the sidewalk outside. Most people come in costume as obscure characters from the Potterverse. This is a great chance to geek out with lots of other people about the Harry Potter series. If you are looking for something to do that night, please consider attending with me.

Note to parents out there: despite the lateness of the hour, this is a child-friendly event. While there are tons of adult fans who attend this, there are a lot of activities at the party geared towards the younger set.
