Title: Writers Workshop Guru
Not yet added
My short fiction has been published in both mainstream and speculative fiction markets. I'm a web communications director by day, a fiction writer by night, a wife and mother 'round the clock, and a procrastinator when I get around to it.
I write fantasy and mainstream fiction. Publications: Tamarack Award runner-up "Aim," forthcoming in Minnesota Monthly (Jan. '07); "Kissing Frogs" and "Fallen Idols" in Fantasy & Science Fiction; "All the Blue-Haired Ladies" in Great River Review.
I'm a terrible procrastinator about writing, and in dire need of external motivating forces. So I'm hoping this group might help keep me on task, as well as providing a social outlet to talk craft with like-minded writers.
I love how this group welcomes and supports writers at every level--from those who've had professional publications to those who are writing their first stories.

how many words do you write in a day and what is the standard.
