Title: Novelist Retreat Host
Not yet added
Hi- I'm a wannabe writer, working a science fiction novel, have attended Lyda Morehouse's Loft class (and Faith Sullivan's Loft weekend retreat). Working as an electrical engineer.
Hard science fiction, character driven (but enough rivets, gizmotrons and thrills to satisfy those who thirst for same). Un-published, looking forward to fame and glory--although money would be nice.
Looking for a group to share work product with and to lend another ear to other writers' work.
Nice mix of newbies and highly skilled writers with a supportive atmosphere.

Protecting your bits and bytes
"Thanks for the link, Vu. It looks like a nice tool."
"I'm in the same boat as Conrad, I think. I'm an outliner, need to have a vision far ahead of what is going to happen--and MUCH more importantly--WHY it is going to happen...."

"MACs and PCs both have very nice things to recommend them. My wife had an interesting conversation with a cell phone salesman, describing two different phones in their store ('Droid and Blackberry)...."
The Shameless Self-Promotion Discussion
"Congratulations Christopher. Here's hoping for multiple printings. Nice web page, clean and easy to read."
Protecting your bits and bytes
"Thanks for the links, Conrad. My backups have been kludgey (thank-you, Microsoft Outlook). I've been looking for a reasonable automated system...."
"How exciting, Abra. I'm very happy for you. (And insanely jealous.)"
Protecting your bits and bytes
"There was a Session at WisCon that was focused on tools, and it included quite a lot of discussion of different people's backup techniques. (You would be sad, wouldn't you, if all your files disappeared one day...?)..."
"Quite a nice post. Please step to the front of the class more often. Even better, why go to the back at all?"
Odyssey Workshop Now Offering Online Classes
"Thanks for the Odyssey info, Maggie. This show/tell class looks interesting. Most of us think we've got that down. Most of us are wrong."
