Introduction
Hello! I'm a 32 yr. old speculative fiction writer from Amery, WI. I recently finished my first novel, had it professionally edited, and my editor suggested that I join a writer's group, network, and meet some other writers, so here I am.
What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.
I am a new writer. I have entered a few short stories in a few contests, but the results aren't in until the end of the year. My first novel, yet unpublished, was a horror/dark fantasy novel. I am currently working on two other novels.
What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?
My editor suggested I join a writers group, network with other writers, discover new techniques for marketing, as well as find a forum to advance my writing. I am very driven in my writing, and my goal is to break into the literary market.
