MOMS Club Denver South is a local chapter of International MOMS Club (www.momsclub.org), a non-profit organization that supports the stay-at-home mother of today. There are more than 100,000 members and 2,000 chapters of MOMS Club International. We are run by moms, for moms! For more information please visit our website at www.momsclubdenversouth.com
Our chapter serves moms who live in specific areas of Denver, Englewood, Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village, Littleton, and Centennial.
Please only request to join if you live within the following boundaries:
South of Hampden Ave.; North of County Line Road; East of the Platte River; West of Havana St.
If we are not a fit, please contact the International MOMS Club at www.momsclub.org to find out if there is a club near you.
Our activities occur during the daytime, when stay at home moms need the most support, and include both moms and their children.
Being a stay at home mom can be isolating, and it can be tough to meet other moms and children. That's where MOMS Club can help! We are a group committed to supporting one another and providing activities that benefit both mother and child. Through participation in meetings and activities you will meet other moms who live in your city, have a variety of activities to choose from to fill your day, and build new friendships.
Our activities vary from month to month and always include both mothers and their children. Our chapter typically has two to three events each week. We have regularly scheduled park days and playdates, while field trips/outings are intermittently scheduled every month. Some often visited favorites of our chapter include the zoo, Treehouse Discovery, Panera Bread, local libraries, and local parks. Brunch Bunch, a time when moms and children meet for brunch, is scheduled at least once a month, as are MOMS Night Out and Book Club. We also have parties for major holidays and occasional seasonal BBQs.
MOMS Club wants to make a difference in communities throughout the country and world. Local MOMS Club chapters are committed to completing at least one service project each year that benefits children, although it is not unusual for clubs to do multiple projects. A few service projects we have done in the past include collecting much needed items for a women's shelter, adopting a family through the Arapahoe House, donating books to a local library, and making blankets for newborns through Project Linus.
Membership is open to all mothers who live within our above boundaries, and who stay at home or work part time. We welcome children of all ages, including school age children. Our annual dues are only $25 per year and help cover the cost of operating expenses.
When you ask to join we will email you to verify that you live within our chapter's boundaries, and we will send you our membership paperwork via email. You will then send in your yearly dues and your signed membership paperwork to our Membership Vice President.
Alternatively, you can come to an event and turn in your paperwork and dues to our Membership VP. Once we have your documents you will be added to the MOMS Club Denver South!
Non-members can attend two public events before deciding to join. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org directly for information on the next meeting or public event if you would like to meet us before joining.
**Please include your street address or cross streets in your request to join as this will help us verify quicker if you are in our area! Thank you! :)
