Welcome! We’re so glad you found us! We are a fun and active group of mothers with young children that meetup around the Palm Harbor and surrounding area. We spend our time getting out to see the city, allowing the children to socialize and play, and learning and laughing together.
**(You must reside within one of the following zip codes: 34682, 34683, 34684, 34685, 34677, 34695, 33761, 34698.)
What we do: Meetups are held at many venues around the area, such as local parks in the Palm Harbor area; Public Libraries; Restaurants; Museums; the beaches, and at member's homes, to name a few. Most events occur during working hours but occasionally we have weekend family events. We also offer monthly Moms Night Out activities! We strive to offer unique and interesting meetups that take advantage of the events and resources around town, as well as the skills and talents of our members. Not many other playgroups in the area offer the same kind of diversity and creativity in their events.
We invite you to join our group, to meet other moms of busy babies and toddlers near Palm Harbor, and to exchange advice, support, and laughs. You need a support group that understands your special needs as an at-home mother and we're it! MOMS Club is the first, largest and fastest growing support group specifically for ALL at-home mothers. **This particular group is for Moms located in the Palm Harbor area only.**
Here are some of the things that make us special:
-We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support.
-We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so mothers may bring their children with them! For meetings, groups set up children's rooms with member volunteer babysitters (the children think they are at their own club!) and at activities, having children present is considered a natural part of life.
-We have an established support system for our local chapters. Our volunteer Coordinators are experienced MOMS Club Moms who are ready to help you every step of the way. You can call them for advice, ideas and help! Where there are several groups in an area, we help set up luncheons and get-togethers so officers and members can network and exchange ideas, and we have special newsletters and other support just for our local chapters and members.
Monthly Meeting: During this meeting, we conduct group business and discuss upcoming activities, events and service projects. We also devote time to fun activities, guest speakers, discussions on parenting, or just enjoy each other's company.
Playgroups: We have playgroups made up of member with children who are within 1 year of age. These groups meet weekly and are organized by their playgroup leaders. Playgroups offer kids the opportunity to meet and play with children of similar ages and allow moms to meet and chat.
Tadpoles: Ages Birth to 1 year by Aug. 31st
Minnows: 1 year by Sept 1st 2014
Dolphins: 2 years by Sept 1st 2014
Sea Turtles: 3 years by Sept 1st 2014
Sailfish: 4 years by Sept 1st 2014

Service Projects: Joining the MOMS Club is a great way to get involved in the community! We run various service projects throughout the year that allow our moms to give their time and energy to worthy charities in the area. Recently, we have collected supplies for a nearby school and we have participated in toy, clothing and toiletry drives for local groups serving the needy.
Sunshine Committee: Members of this group provide meals to other members who have recently had babies, or who may be going through a difficult time.
Mom's Night Out: What mom doesn't need a night out? Every so often, we get together for a little rejuvenating MOM time. Some of out Mom's Night Out outings have included a dinner out, a game night and a after hours pedicures at one of our favorite spots.
Holiday Parties: We celebrate special times of the year with a variety of holiday parties and activities. The parties are safe and fun opportunities for the children to celebrate holidays with their moms and friends.
Membership is open to all mothers in the Palm Harbor/East Lake/Safety Harbor area, who stay at home or work part time. We welcome children of all ages, including school age children. Our annual dues are only $20 and help cover the cost of operating expenses.

As a prospective member, we invite you to attend two events so you can see what we have to offer before you decide to join (mandatory to attend 2 events prior to application being accepted). Our chapter has several events each month for all moms and their kids to attend. These events usually include things such as park days, beach outings, field trips, story time at a local library/book store. Etc. There is no requirement for attendance to any event, so you are welcome to be as involved as you and your children would like! We also offer age-based playgroups.
