MOMS Club® is an International non-profit organization with 2,000+ chapters in the U.S. alone and over 100,000 members aimed at providing support for mothers who have chosen to stay home and raise their children. The goals of the club including providing a forum for relevant topics to mothers, engaging in activities which enrich the lives of ourselves and our children, and performing service projects to benefit other mothers and children. Parenting can be a very rewarding career but it is also hard work. MOMS Club members are here to give support and understanding to each other for the daily joys and tasks of motherhood.
Membership Requirements and Guidelines
You must be a resident of either Tigard OR or Tualatin OR to be a member of this group. Before your membership is approved and you are granted access to our website and calendar of events, we'd like to meet you. This is to ensure safety and privacy for our current members and it also gives you the opportunity to see if our group is what you are looking for. Once you attend a public event and an organizer feels confident you are a mom with good intentions, you will be approved and granted full access to our website and calendar of events. Non-members may be a part of this meet-up for up to 30 days and may attend up to 3 public events. After 30 days, they must turn in their membership paperwork and pay dues or they will be dropped from this meet-up group.
To be approved for membership - Please complete ALL PROFILE QUESTIONS AND POST A PICTURE(S). Members WILL NOT be approved without this information. Pictures are required for identification. We require members to have a picture of themselves or themselves and their children in their profile.
Providing a detailed profile and pictures of the members is important because it allows the other members to get to know you and provides a level of security important to our members. At events, we are looking for you as much as you are looking for us. Rest assured, our group is private so no one will see the pictures, but group members.
Annual dues are only $30 and cover the costs of administration, newsletter production, mailings, space rental, supplies, etc.We are a non-profit organization. Dues need to be submitted with your membership application. Any money collected will be used exclusively for our programs and projects. As a member, you are eligible to participate in all club activities and to hold any club office.

Activities – Parks and berry picking during the summer, pumpkin patches and farms in the fall and indoor amusements during the colder wet months!
MOMS n’ Muffins – This is probably our most popular event when we meet at a member’s home, chat and snack while the kids play! We’ve been having more and more home get-togethers, some morning, some afternoon, and once or twice a month we’ll do an evening/dinner potluck.
MOMS Night Out – Some of our outings have been to restaurants, movies, and just hanging out at member's homes. It is nice to have a few hours of “girl time!”
Seasonal Parties – These are focused on the entire family and include a summer picnic (the fire and police departments came one year), Halloween and December Holiday Party (Santa stopped by once when we went to Inflatable Kingdom).
MOMS Retreats – Twice a year we have a retreat – one year we went to the coast in the spring and McMenamins Grand Lodge/Wine Tasting in the fall. It is one or two nights of relaxation.
Support Services:We recognize that there can come a time when moms need a little extra help. Support Services coordinates temporary aid for members, including: meals, help with domestic chores, emergency transportation, childcare or simply someone to listen.
When a new baby arrives or when a member just needs some support, members can contact the current Support Services Coordinator. Matters are always kept confidential.
Monthly Business Meeting:We get together monthly to discuss current events in our club, and we have great speakers quarterly the touch on “mom” topics.
Service Projects:As a non-profit organization with service on our list of priorities, we will "adopt" a local mother/child related non-profit organization as our club's charity. Our goal will be to increase community awareness of this charity while aiding the organization through the support and participation of the Service Committee and other members of the MOMS Club®.
Please do not bring your child to ANY events if they have run a fever of 100.4 or higher within the last 24 hours, had vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours, have exhibited any symptoms of any childhood communicable diseases, have a common cold with discolored nasal mucus, severe cough, a sore throat or strep, croup, lice, an undiagnosed rash or skin infection, suspected mononucleosis, pinkeye or other contagious eye infection, or an inoculation or vaccination of a live virus within 48 hours (MMR, Chicken Pox).
