Friday Prayers

All genders, sexual orientations, colors, etc. are welcome! All of us (regardless of gender) will take turns giving the khutbah (sermon) and leading prayer, and everyone will learn some dua (prayers) we can say as a group. We pray Mecca-style; those who prefer gender segregation may stand to the sides.  Please bring a prayer mat, if you can.
A sadaka (charitable donation) of a few dollars will be appreciated to help pay for the rental space.

Streaming video will be available for those who can't make it to the Levantine Center. To join us, use this link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mpvunitymosque-la

No shorts! ;-) Welcome Brian. Regular street clothes, jeans, t-shirt works fine. See you then!

Hi Brian, it's tradition to dress nicely for Friday prayers but most of us tend to dress casually. If you have your own prayer rug, you can bring it but if not we have extras.
