MSTies, Riffies, and...um...Cinematic Titanic Survivies(??) UNTIE!!

Or rather, UNITE!! (Note to self: Reinstall the spell check.)

Welcome to MST3K Fans Of SE PA, a group dedicated to the die hard viewers of Mystery Science Theater 3000, as well as its hellspawn:

Rifftrax
Cinematic Titanic
and even a few
Film Crews, thrown in for good measure.

As a married couple having met through MST3K, in order to demonstrate our complete inability to learn from experience, as well as to preserve the fan base, we figured, why not start a Meetup group centered around one of our favorite activities? That is, sitting on our butts and snacking, while staring at the television?

So, if you're like us and enjoy bad films, or obsessing over a fifteen-year-old basic cable program, or just get a kick out of annoying those around you by shouting your unsolicited opinions at the screen, well then, you've come to the right place!

If you're a fan of Mike, Joel, Kevin, Trace, Bill, Bridget, Mary Jo, the Bots, or any combination thereof, please join us as we view DVD's of all three shows, as well as various shorts, and perhaps even try our collective hands at our own "riffing on the fly." (Not nearly as dirty as it unintentionally sounds, I'm afraid.)

Darcye, our intrepid and loyal assistant organizer, has graciously offered us the use of her home for screenings and munchies come the autumn. Until then, we'll be having several meetings over coffee at various diners, in order to determine film choices, snack preferences, and basically just to get acquainted.
