Cyberterrorism, srsly?

!! Note that we will be meeting outside at one of the biergarten tables and not as usual inside in a room. Because of this I'll be changing the format of the talk to be more of a discussion!!

With Anonymous having announced campaigns on June 15th and 20th, this is an opportunistic time to look into what cyberterrorism and cyberactivism actually is and could be, whether those campaigns prove to be damp squids or not. This will be a high-level presentation, so I will only be going into the discovery methods briefly.

I will go through my previous research on the subject and look at what has changed. I'm hoping this will lead to discussion over good food and beer.

Hi everyone - just to remind you, Christian's group will be hosting a talk by Roger Dingledine and Jake Appelbaum on Tor this month - July 24th, 6pm. The link is this: https://www.gnunet.org/tor2013tum Unfortunately, I won't be around myself, but I imagine there ought to be time for food and drinks afterwards.

Great to see everyone again after a month break. Let's see if we can co-habitate with the TUM event next month for the next Meetup!

Nice to meet you guys. The weather was good and Morton covered a very interesting topic. It was cool to find out about the attacks on the ICS honeybucket coming from Laos :-) . Besides, it would have never crossed my mind that you apply machine learning to pastebin.
    Thanks, Horea

    Hi all,
we may not have enough people this time to fill a room for ourselves (and cover the cost.) If we don't have a few more RSVPs by later this afternoon, we'll keep the time and location, but I'll try to get table in the garden or inside.
    Cheers, Morton

If the weather keeps up I'd suggest sitting outside anyways.

    Hello :)

If I'm not asking this too late, could it be possible to meet on Tuesday or Thursday? (in June I have German course Monday and Wednesday evenings)

    Thanks,
    Ana

Hi all - just a reconfirmation that our next meeting is in June! When we're all together again, I also suggest we have a quick chat about who else might want to give a talk. I'm not sure if Christian agrees, but if he does, we might, for example, have a talk about GNUnet and/or GADS (a censor-ship resistant DNS alternative). Furthermore, we've got some more anti-censor stuff up our sleeves here at TUM, but maybe some non-academics should have a go first.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
