Hi everyone,

finally we want to announce our first meetup for 2014. This time Oliver Gierke, Spring Data project lead, will present a great talk about Spring Data and MongoDB. The event will be hosted at Hypoport and we will have drinks and snacks for you. Depending on the attendees Oliver can present his talk in english as well.

Spring Data MongoDB - MongoDB for (Enterprise) Java Developers

I was thinking about splitting the talk in half: boring you with a few slides with some general info in the first half and spend the second one rummaging though some code and discuss stuff.

Anything particular, that you guys are interested in?

For me it would be: auditing capabilities, lazy loading of DbRefs, querydsl support; and some non-spring related stuff such as best practices in "schema" evolution and integration testing with ad-hoc mongodb (like jdbc:embedded-database for sql)

I'm interested in best practices in handling large MongoCursors (e.g. Paging API, restartable iterations and streaming of documents).
