Job Description
Web Developer with expertise in PHP/Zend Framework to assist in the development of a new content manager.



This role is part of a small team committed to rapid application development and delivery of the highest quality products for the company. The position will design, modify, develop, write, implement and maintain software applications.  All members of the team cross between both production and development.



The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in related field with advanced knowledge of PHP 5.3, Zend Framework (MVC), Doctrine, SQL, UNIX/LINUX, Subversion, Continuous Integration with Bamboo, Test-Driven Development, and OOP Design patterns.

Desired Skills & Experience
•2 yrs.experience in PHP applications in a UNIX/Linux environment. 
•2 yrs. experience with PHP Zend (MVC) Framework with at least one live project is required.  Zend Framework Certification a Plus. 
•2 yrs. experience in Oracle Database. 
•2 yrs. experience with PostgreSql. 
•Proficiency with Jquery, Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, XML and CSS. 
•Strong Object Oriented Programming skills. 
•Experience writing test suites using PHP Unit and Selenium. 
•Experience writing and generating docs using PHP Documentor or Docblox. 
•Experience building applications within Eclipse or Zend Studio. 
•Be able to write scalable applications that will span multiple load-balanced servers. 
•Candidate must be confident in their skills, be willing to advocate for their approach and yet, collaborate and negotiate with other strong-minded individuals. 
•Must be consultative and very good at figuring out solutions to technical challenges. 
•Motivated self starter, with a natural curiosity of programming with strong work ethic. 
•Must be willing to work with, and assist in the development, of less experienced developers.
