Toronto Data Science Group, Technical Edition

6:00 to 6:15pm: Mingle and make sure the A/V equipment is working, speakers are good to go.

6:25pm: Welcomes and Thank You – and around the room – who’s here?

6:35pm: Presentation (Martin Ostrovsky) Applied Machine Learning with the Repustate API (technical)

7:35pm: Questions and Answers

7:55pm: Conclusion

8:00pm: Exit & After Event Off-Site (Charlotte Room possibly if large group, Barhop if small group)

The Toronto Data Science Group alternates between generalist events and developer focused events. This will be the second technical event.

Both audiences, those who are interested in data science, and those who are practitioners of data science are invited, and can both expect to learn something new.

Attendees can expect to learn what data science is, its applications, and what's going on in Toronto's data science community. Significant 'getting to know you' time is deliberately set aside.

Good presentation. Was expecting however some more technical discussion, as the meeting felt short.

What is the likelihood of room opening up for those of us on the waiting list?
