Scary/Off Beat Film Series Film #4 - The ABCs of Death

Hi All,

Here is another Scary / Off Beat Film that we get to see for only one night only! 26 short films. 26 different ways to die depending on each letter of the alphabet! This is suppose to be a very dark comedy / horror that contains 26 Independent directors doing 5 minute short films on how to die depending on each letter of the alphabet.

This contains stop motion animation, claymation and other suspenseful ways on how to die. Its been getting moderate reviews but the premise does sound interesting.

The running length is 126 minutes.

I saw T is for Toilet on Youtube and man, it was uhhh.. Interesting.. If you don't want spoilers, you don't have to search it on Youtube...

Here is the trailer:

Here is another interesting short film (Not from the movie) for the Letter T... T is for Talk..... but here's a taste of what you can expect.  See below and Enjoy!

Synopsis of The ABCs of Death

Twenty-six directors. Twenty-six ways to die. The ABCs of Death is perhaps the most ambitious anthology film ever conceived with productions spanning fifteen countries and featuring segments directed by over two dozen of the world's leading talents in contemporary genre film. Inspired by children's educational books, the motion picture is comprised of twenty-six individual chapters, each helmed by a different director assigned a letter of the alphabet. The directors were then given free reign in choosing a word to create a story involving death. (Full Director List).

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well Brian, hope you are better real soon. There's no reason to cancel this meetup, I think you should all still see the movie. Just meet at the designated spot, introduce yourself and see the movie!

Brian the trailers have left me speechless. I watched the first one and thought, hmm Brian has serious issues, then I watched the second trailer and thought, hmm, interesting, I wonder what the other directors came up with, maybe I could watch this film after all but always be on the ready to close my eyes and cover my ears. But then I thought, how can I do both (cover ears and eyes) and still hold onto my barf bag and my sanity? :)

Yup - I'm in the same boat... Scared to watch this but there's this curiosity in me that wants to find out what happens.. The fun of Scary/Off Beat cinema! :) Better to watch it in a group setting...
