Phil D is the organizer for this meetup.  If you need to contact him, please post a message on the wall, or go into his profile and email him through there.

Per MAMM policy, cellphone use by members during a movie is prohibited.  We request that you put away your phones once the previews start. If you need to check your phone for any reason, please exit the auditorium.  Also, please refrain from excessive chatting during the film.  We can discuss the movie afterwards.  Thanks!

Before Kick-Ass there was Super. I'm guessing this didn't get a wide release, I didn't see any advertising for this back in 2010.  Looks like a quirky comedy.

Thanks for letting me join after. I liked the movie when I saw it before. And had a good time talking at Pickles. Unfortunately, something was nagging at me and I finally realized, when I just did the math, that I gave the waiter a low tip. I'll have to go back sometime soon.

Great movie, I'd say the best comedy I've seen this year. It wasn't a perfect movie, but the laughs were well spaced out, and there were some 'dramatic' moments. But this movie is a dark comedy, there are scenes that some will find over the topic, graphic, gory, and perhaps mildly offensive. But that gives the film a bit of realism, as opposed to the fantasy-driven Hollywood movie that might be seen as a comparison, Kick Ass. This story also stays focused on the title character's plight, whereas Kick Ass the character was overshadowed by story of the other two crime fighters who he teams up with.
