Movie synopsis:

In RED 2, the high-octane action-comedy sequel to the worldwide sleeper hit, retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device. To succeed, they’ll need to survive an army of relentless assassins, ruthless terrorists and power-crazed government officials, all eager to get their hands on the next-generation weapon. I loved the movie. Just the right amount of explosives, large guns a memorable car chase with Helen Mirren (my favorite scene of the movie). Thanks for the meetup Phil.

This is a good movie if you want to see several long-time actors in the same film. Mary Louise Parker is ridiculously suited to her role in this. Light hearted film, which is what I was in the mood for this particular Tuesday - thanks to Phil D. for organizing this

The movie had some good moments. A little heavy on the body count. Nice after movie chat.

I thought the movie was just okay. I liked the first one more, I guess because we were being introduced to the characters, and I found the humour was better. In this one, I didn't think the jokes were as funny, the story was just okay, and there seemed to be lot of shooting up of people who were not necessarily 'bad guys'. But it is based on DC comic characters, so I can't complain about how unrealistic it was. :) Thanks for coming out to the film, and hanging out at Boston Pizza after.

And the opening sequence from A Matter of Life and Death/ Stairway to Heaven (1946) David Niven, Kim Hunter-
