Hi everyone,...this documentary is being released this w/e & looks quite timely...  (warning: you may never look at "pizza" in quite the same way....!)

Sorry people, currently derailed by some relentless health issues and unable to attend any group events for the time being.

I think we all knew what this doc would be about but I was somewhat aghast at the extent of the manipulations of big business to get people addicted to buy 'junk' food (especially targeting innocent children). The control which big corporations hold over governments is very disturbing. The old adage 'buyer beware' still rings true as everything seemingly is about da money regardless of all the negative ramifications.

Thought it was a good effort by Katie Couric to explore the issue of obesity & some of the "myths" about diet in advertising... hopefullly it will encourage more conversation & real "change".... Thanks everyone for coming out to this!

Very Sobering film that everyone should be required to see. Especially essential in school program but we all need to learn and take action however small.
