I like to make yogurt and bread in the fermentor that I built. My fiance is learning to make beer. Basically... food!
Soap, chicken care, ethnic and traditional foods, fermented foods.
I want to learn how to DO things since I was raised in a house where "education has brought us beyond such physical labor"... plus as a girl it was worse. Any events where I can learn things is great.
I graduated from the UW a short while ago and have been living in Madison ever since. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as food culture, or any sort of common knowledge where people actually MAKE anything.
