Unfortunately I won't be able to make it Friday; we will be recording Episode 12 of the Wandering Geek Podcast (a podcast about games of various sorts and travelling).
I was a memeber of the St. Louis Board game Meetup Group when I was commuting to St. Louis.? They have 15 or so events each month throughout the metro area, and have several hundred members.? Most events are held at FLGSs or coffee shops; some are held at peoples homes.? The events were always a lot of fun - with 8-12 people attending the events I was able to get to.? I will reach out to the organizers of that group for any tips, and will pass them along.
Have Misty Mountain or The Last Square been approached about hosting periodically?? They both have gaming room and plenty of free parking.? Misty has food nearby, too.? If anybody would be interested in games down towards Janesville, I can approach the folks at Kryptonite Collectibles and Noble Knight Games to see if they might be willing to host sometime.
Have fun Friday!
