What we’re about
We are a group dedicated to the revival and promotion of social and partner ballroom dance through education, practice, and social gatherings in a comfortable group setting. There are many groups dedicated to other singular styles such as Salsa, Swing and Contemporary, our concentration is on the traditional Ballroom Standard (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quick Step, Viennese Waltz), Latin (Cha-Cha, Rumba, Bolero, Swing, Mambo), and sometimes may include social club dances (Merengue, Salsa, and others). If you are not experienced, that's OK but you must understand you can't learn any of these properly in one or two classes. A series lasts 4 to 8 weeks and, as we build week to week, no new members after the first week. This group is not intended to promote other organizations or businesses but to develop and encourage the enjoyment of social partner dance.
