I'll be doing this 39 mile loop most Sunday's from here on out. I like to get a fairly early start, especially weeks that I have my kids. I can ride... they can sleep! If I can be home by 10:30am... they don't even know I've been gone! :)
For me, this week will be a 70 mile ride... however riders often do more or less by adding/subtracting to the 39 mile loop.
I average typically about 15-16 mph for this loop... a little faster as the training goes along.
Get ready for the hills!
I'd like to be on the saddle by 6:30am at the latest please.
We'll park at Hometown Junction Park... it's on Main Street and the IM bike loop. If anyone wants to do a brick... the Military Ridge bike path is right there for a soft packed limestone trail. There is also water and bathrooms right there.
AND... Chocolate Shop ice cream shop is right across the street... Perfect!
