Hopefully we'll have riders doing the loop most Sunday's from here on out. I'll just get it going...
This week will be ~38 miles. Get ready for the hills! I like to get a fairly early start, especially weeks that I have my kids. I can ride... they can sleep! If I can be home by 10:30am... they don't even know I've been gone! :)
I average typically about 15 mph for this loop... a little faster as the training goes along. For reference... that's a 2hr & 40 min ride.
I'd like to be on the saddle by 8am at the latest please. We'll park at Hometown Junction Park... it's on Main Street and the IM bike loop. There are bathrooms, water, picnic tables and shelter if needed. If anyone wants to do a brick... the Military Ridge bike path is right there for a soft packed limestone trail.
AND... Chocolate Shop ice cream shop is right across the street... Perfect!
PLEASE NOTE... I always watch the weather... so if it looks like Sunday morning is going to be wet/raining... I'll often look at Saturday morning.
