Tues Eve Intermed Coed V-Ball (outdoors, sand)

  • James Madison Memorial High School

201 South Gammon Road, Madison, WI (map)

    43.064377 -89.500092

  • The two outdoor sand courts are between the building and the tennis courts, N of the football stadium. (You can see them in the satellite view on GoogleMaps.)
  • Open coed v-ball at an intermediate or higher level.

Every Tues evening (weather permitting) 6:30pm until dark through the spring and summer, at Memorial High School (NE corner of Mineral Point and Gammon). Big thanks to Brian H for leading this group, inviting us to join a group he's been running in recent years from the Blackhawk Church.

The two outdoor sand courts are between the building and the tennis courts, N of the football stadium. (You can see them in the satellite view on GoogleMaps.) These courts drain and dry out quickly even after an afternoon rain shower, so don't let a little precip scare you off.

BYO: Water/Gatorade/whatever, and bug dope as needed.

TAKE RSVPs WITH A GRAIN OF SALT: Note that this group has been running for some time before they invited our Meetup to join them, so they have a number of regular attendees who are not in our Meetup. Don't be scared off by a low RSVP count here.

IF BAD WEATHER THREATENS: We'll post a cancellation note/email to all RSVPers and our Meetup Message Board by 6pm if it looks like we won't be able to play. If there is no cancellation note, that means we're going to try, so use your best judgment.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
