Tues Eve Intermed Coed V-Ball (outdoors, sand)

Open coed v-ball at an intermediate or higher level.

Every Tues evening (weather permitting) 6:30pm until dark through the spring and summer, at Memorial High School (NE corner of Mineral Point and Gammon). Big thanks to Brian H for leading this group, inviting us to join a group he's been running in recent years from the Blackhawk Church.

The two outdoor sand courts are between the building and the tennis courts, N of the football stadium. (You can see them in the satellite view on GoogleMaps.) These courts drain and dry out quickly even after an afternoon rain shower, so don't let a little precip scare you off.

BYO: Water/Gatorade/whatever, and bug dope as needed.

TAKE RSVPs WITH A GRAIN OF SALT: Note that this group has been running for some time before they invited our Meetup to join them, so they have a number of regular attendees who are not in our Meetup. Don't be scared off by a low RSVP count here.

IF BAD WEATHER THREATENS: We'll post a cancellation note/email to all RSVPers and our Meetup Message Board by 6pm if it looks like we won't be able to play. If there is no cancellation note, that means we're going to try, so use your best judgment.

Great group of people. I had a blast playing and plan on making it a regular thing!

Hey, can we meet a little earlier, like 6:00 pm so we can get more time in daylight?

In past years people have had trouble arriving by 6 pm. If we get a big enough group that is going every week who can start by 6 pm, we can start earlier.

Hopefully we have good weather. Sorry about canceling last week but my grandmother died and there was not anyone else available to get these Tues night games started on short notice.

Is it ok if I just show up for one night? And what is the format? 6's quads or doubles?

Sure, c'mon down. All of the groups we have scheduled now are for coed 6x6. But if we have an overflow court available and some people want to play 2s or 4s, then go for it.
