Holidays at Overture: A Christmas Carol followed by Dinner at Brocach Irish Pub

Do you ever feel a little "Bah, humbug!" about the holidays? Let an afternoon with Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and a few spirits (ghosts as well as liquid libations) chase away your holiday blues!

Please join the Energizers for one of Madison's finest holiday traditions at the Overture Center . . . Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" presented by the Children's Theater of Madison. This is much more than a play. It’s an event the whole family can enjoy. A mark-it-on-the-calendar and get-a-little-dressed-up kind of day. Step back in time to Victorian England for a wild seasonal ride. It’s the journey of Scrooge from curmudgeonly miser to all-around good guy. And speaking of good guys, James Ridge of American Players Theatre plays Scrooge to perfection in this, CTM's signature production.

I scored 16 good seats at reasonable prices for our group. We will be in the Capitol Theater, upper level, row C 215 - 218 and row D 215 - 226. The price is $22 per person, and you will be required to pay for your ticket if you RSVP "Yes" for this meetup. I have purchased the tickets and will mail them to you for you to bring to the Overture Center. Afterwards, if anyone is game, I made reservations for dinner for our group at Brocach's Irish Pub on the Square.

"A Christmas Carol" is my favorite holiday story, and I'm so happy to be able to share this special experience with the Energizers.

Have a wonderful holiday season and as Tiny Tim would say, "God bless us . . . everyone!"

The best stage production of "A Christmas Carol" I've seen yet, and we had wonderful company at Brocach's for dinner. Thanks, everyone, for participating.

Hey, everyone! It'll be great to see you at Overture tomorrow. Since you all have your tickets, please feel free to go directly to your seats when you get to Overture. We will all be sitting together in the Capitol Theater. After the show, we will gather for dinner at Brocach's for all who are interested. If you have questions, my cell number is: (608)[masked]

I guess I just missed it. I just got your answer and tried to get Braden and I in, but it is closed now. Grrrrr....

Kid friendly event? I took Braden to this when he was younger. They did a fantastic job! If I can take him, please count us in.

Hi, everyone! I wanted to let you know that I will mail your tickets to you instead of distributing at Overture Center. I am due to fly in from New Orleans on Friday night, December 20. Just in case something happens with my flight and I am unable to come to Overture, I want to make sure you have your tickets regardless. I do plan to be at this event though, unless some extraordinary circumstance (bad weather, etc.) prevents it. Look for an envelope from me in your mail and see you at Overture!

Do you know what time this will end? I have to be at church at 5pm that night, but I'd like to be able to come to this too
