Developing your Survival Mindset and Personal Safety Plan

A personal safety plan helps us prepare for how to react if confronted by a violent attacker and how to avoid violent crime in the first place. More than becoming proficient in self defense or martial arts, a personal safety plan includes conflict avoidance, situational awareness and mental preparation – the critical activities that can help you avoid escalating to self defense

We will discuss:

•  how criminals choose their victims

• how to improve our situational awareness

• how to develop our will to stay alive, our “survival mindset”

I love the center but there were a lot if distractions for this event. Think I'll do this at my house next time. Great content - very thought provoking.

I was looking for something like this because I was approached by some high school boys when I was walking, eyeing up my cell phone. Now I am afraid to walk alone. Unfortunately I can't come tonight, I am sick. I hope another one will be presented in the future. Happy birthday to you too
