Dungeons & Dragons (5th edition)

This will be a one-shot session using the brand new D&D rules. Everyone will make their own character before adventuring. I'll probably stitch together an old AD&D module from the 80's with some of my own gonzo ideas.

It's ok if you don't know the rules of this edition or haven't ever seen a roleplaying game before! Want to try it? Now's your chance.

8 players is the maximum!

Great stuff! I used a Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure, as well as, their magic system. All the players were awesome. Will do another one in September. Thanks, guys.

Had a great time, great GM and group. Fun one shot I'd not seen before! You've inspired me to try to run some of my own!

You might be happy to know that I am now the proud owner of a fifth addition starter set. I had a great time. Thanks again for DMing Darrick!

Are we supposed to bring characters already made? I'm a little confused about that. Are you going to have ready-made character sheets like you did the last time? That would really help, thanks.

This time we're going to make characters at the table. It's easy and will take about 20 minutes which is why the time slot is for 4 1/2 hours instead of 4. You don't have to bring a thing, but if you'd like to think of a character concept (amazon warrior, martial artist elf, demonic magic-user) that would give you a leg-up.

Jodi and I have a nephew and niece for the day so we won't be able to make it. We did however introduce them to Alien and Sin City last night :) Darrick is a great GM so you kids have fun!
