How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

These days it mostly seems to indicate that you enjoy learning and thinking.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

Reading, writing, playing games, attending the theater, being the theater, long philosophical discussions

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

Very short poetry. (One line is good.) Very long novels. Pretty much any acting that takes place right in front of me and not on a screen. (Though I like screens ok too.) Visual art (looking at it, not making it). Joss Whedon, like every other geek on the planet.

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

Talking about stuff, playing games, going weird places

I'm a writer for both fun and profit. I like to think about stuff.
