How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

I've always referred to myself as a 'closet nerd'. I think geek is close to that. I think geekery is anything that requires more imagination to appreciate than the average person has.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

I am a huge comic/graphic novel buff and I love science fiction, animation, and mech anime (particularly Gundam). I used to play DnD when I was in high school and would'

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

Anything by Frank Miller, Alan Moore, Jim Lee, or Chris Clarememont. Star Trek, Star Wars, Final Fantasy series, Dungeons and Dragons, Farscape, Firefly, are things I can list off the top of my head.

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

Nerd trivia, gaming, movies...honestly any kind of social event where people can meet and learn and talk about nerd interests. The more variety the better.
