How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

I played AD&D, Battletech, Vampire:The Masquerade....I love SciFi and Fantasy, I've read LOTR series 11 times. I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas for the XBOX 360, I LOVED Fable 1,2,3 .....I'm currently still playing Reckoning:Kingdom of Amalur. I write, I GM, I draw/paint monsters/superheroes. I played Wizardry on the Apple 2c. I own loads and loads of SciFi Fantasy movies, I have an 80" LED TV and a good sound system for them, on bluray. I absolutely LOVE Buffy and Angel, the series - own them all. I love Supernatural. Own them all.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

RPG's, Ren Faire, Swords, Video games, Movies and Series.

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

I read all of the Song of Fire and Ice books as they were released, and waited for the next - occasionally cursing George R.R. Martin. I read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series the same way, and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. I'm going to watch Sleepy Hollow and Grimm in their entirety when this season is finished. I watched Hercules and Xena, all of them. I watched Jack of All Trades and Briscoe County, Jr. just because the legend - Bruce Campbell was in them. Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, and Bubba Hotep are Brilliant!

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

All of the above. I have no geeks in my neighborhood or in my circle.

I haven't had much time to socialize for the past few years, I've been building my businesses.
