How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

Geekery is all about a lack of pretension to me, which is a personality trait I try to embody in my day to day life. All sincere passion. Zero bullshit.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

I like reading books about things, listening to podcasts about things, walking moderate distances to and from things, looking at art and movies and buildings and thinking things.

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

Tom Robbins, Science, Patton Oswalt, Weezer's Blue Album, Cheeseburgers, Quentin Tarantino films, Alan Moore's Top Ten, contemporary art museums, The House On The Rock.

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

new restaurants, trivia, movies, museums,

Introduction

I'm ok.
