How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

I accept the label. There's so many things out there to get excited about and too many people who give up when anything sounds complicated or involving.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

PC Games (especially older ones with better game play than graphics), reading piles of non-fiction books dedicated to better understanding the human brain, British comedy...you know, stuff.

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

I've got a lot of favorite books, so I'm active on goodreads. I recently discovered Rossi's in Monona. Anything else is ever changing or what have you.

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

I'm pretty interested in this whole taste of 5th edition thing, having last played with 3.5. I guess I wouldn't mind suggesting and participating in museum trips though.

Introduction

I'm pretty much a recluse, I work entirely too much, and read fantasy novels in my free time.
