How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

I've always been a geek.In high school I made it my goal to read the top 100 classics in literature. I was a member of the scholastic bowl team and played the french horn. I attended a very nerdy university. To this day, I enjoy and seek out intellectual, off-beat, and interactive pursuits.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

I love going to documentaries and foreign movies. I also love going to lectures and presentations on topics that interest me. I'm interested in almost any museum - one of my favorites I've visited was the Museum of Death & Dying in Springfield, IL.

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

I love vegetarian food, electronic music, anything sarcastic, and the outdoors. I also love live music and cooking.

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

I'm hoping to attend trivia nights, outdoors events, and museums.

Introduction

I'm a fun loving and peaceful individual.
