Madison Traditional Gaming - February!

Third Saturday of the month regular Meetup!

The monthly meetup is a chance to play vintage role-playing games, some of which you might not have played before. If you've never played Original D&D, AD&D 1st Edition, Classic Traveller, or similar games, here's your chance.

The game list is:

"There's Something Not Right Here!" - Boot Hill, 1st Edition.  After Custer's Last Stand, there was word there might be an Indian uprising.  But things in Montana have been quiet in the months following afterward.  TOO quiet.  More mundane issues like bank and train robberies are more distracting - for NOW.

Our regular schedule is:

9-10am - Gamers arrive; game session set-up; sign-in and socialize
10am - Game sessions begin
1-2pm - Lunch break (this is variable, depending on events)
2-5pm - Game sessions continue; new games may start
5pm - Library closes
There are several restaurants within a short walk from the library - and then gaming until we're done.

Hope to see you there!

Actually Ed, I've been thinking about that idea all this week. I'm an old infantryman, so this stuff scratches all the right itches.

If turnout is high enough, I will be running a second game. It will be Top Secret, 1st Edition, "Minuit la Course":
    Occupied France, July, 1944
The Special Operations Executive has determined that the family of a French scientist must be evacuated to Switzerland. It's up to the Special Air Service and French Resistance maquis to make it happen. Of course, they only have three days, and the family lives in the HQ of the local SS unit...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
