To have a regular run to go on, so I will keep running. And for triathlon training.
I've been doing a 5k for three years now, and I keep meaning to bump it up to a few 5Ks and maybe a 10K, but I don't keep up with the running too well. Now, I'm doing triathlons. Probably stick to olympic level for a while except for that half Ironman in Septemeber. And maybe a full one after that. Then, after those things, just Olympic triathlons.
I like the way it clears my mind of the days' worries. And the aforementioned 5Ks. That's... that's about it. I've now done a few short tris.
8:30 to 9:30 for an average pace. Can put out 7 min miles for a while, but so far not more than 3 miles.
I'm a triathlete living in madison, where triathletes are plentiful, like fishes. Which is fortunate, 'cause it has been tremendous building a support group of people to train with.
