Ender's Game Movie Night

A great scifi classic is finally coming to the big screen. Movie starts at 7:10 pm. I have been looking forward to this film since it was first announced. I highly recommend that if you haven't read the novel yet, that you do so but wait until after you watch the movie. Would want to spoil it for you.

Jeffrey, Organizer of Discount Movies and Events, will offer our members a ticket to the movie for an $8 price. I will be arriving between 6:30-7:00 pm. Please don't hesitate to go up to Jeffrey (picture below) and introduce yourself. Afterwards, if members are interested, we will go to Applebee's for late night half price appetizers and/or 10% off a menu item. I will see you all there!

I want to thank all the ladies that came out to watch Ender's Game last night. I hope you enjoyed yourselves and your company at Applebee's afterwards was definitely delightful.

I feel the same way about the movie (read the book for english class in 9th grade)! But I can't stand his crappy anti-gay stance either.

Proposed solution: Go see this movie *after* opening weekend - which is the one that hollywood cares about and will use to judge the movie's success.

The only thing I'm going to say about this is: Orson Scott Card is a huge, HUGE homophobe who has devoted much of his time and money vilifying LGBT communities. For that reason alone I won't even consider going to a movie based on his book.
