Weekly Who View: A Pond Farewell . . .

Details are in for the first of our weekly viewings of Doctor Who! Chris, the owner of Rook, will be screening the 6:00 broadcast of Saturday's episode on ALL of his televisions for us. (There are at least half a dozen, if not more.) Don't miss the opportunity to either celebrate or bemoan the departure of the Ponds in the company of people who "get it"!

I believe the Doctor will be taking a mid-season break after this episode, but I plan to make this a regular Saturday night gig, regardless. We will just screen other episodes while we wait for new Who.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

The Rook is a full-service bar (beer, wine and the strong stuff) with the feel of an English pub. Currently, it does not serve food. This, of course, means that these will be 21-up only events. I am hoping to find another family-friendly venue option closer to North County, but nothing has panned out as yet. (Feel free to make suggestions!)

The show airs at 6:00, I will be there by 5:30 at the latest. If you choose to come early (or stay late) you can amuse yourself by challenging your fellow Whovians to a game of darts (two electronic dart boards are available) or go head-to-head for a knock-down, drag-out game of Ms. Pac Man!

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

I really loved the new episode, but I was so sad the Ponds had to die...
Love the food from that other place next to it that I ordered from!
I enjoyed it that we had nearly most of the tv with nothing but Doctor who, but I do wish people (i mean the ones not part of the group) would just quiet down and not try to talk over while the show was still on.... I couldnt hear much of what the Doctor or his friends were saying...
Either way I still enjoyed it. ^^ Nice work!
