CELTIC IMBOLC CEREMONY 2014
- Honoring Creative Power and Wisdom of Goddesses Within -
[Open to Female adults and Teenage girls - sorry guys.]
As one of the Celtic holy days, Imbolc (later became the candle mass) has been held to honor the triple aspects of the goddess Brigid (maiden, mother, crone), and the celebration of the birth she gives. Equivalent to Hindu Goddess Sarasvati, fire goddess Brigid is also known as a goddess of writing, poetry, and creativity.
Wisdom and gifts of being women have been suppressed, denied, neglected, and abused for decades and many generations in all parts of the world. Even in many spiritual and religious teachings, women may have been feared and excluded in the past, perhaps because of the nature of femininity has not been fully understood by human intellect alone.
Elders and spiritual teachers who are daring and honoring the feminine aspects of spiritual teaching, has begun to speak out the importance of feminine wisdom much more in recent years (despite of opposing traditional views), and encouraging all women to come forth at this crucial time of our planet Earth.
During this ceremony, we will explore mulch-dimensionally to let go the painful and/or harmful energetic ties, forgive ourselves and others involved in the past, and to retrieve back your own power (life force) that was either taken away or given willingly; causing you to feel/become power-less. Sometimes we are carrying the burden for other women in our lives (mothers, grandmothers, etc.) without knowing. But it's time to take yourself seriously.
We then proceed to rediscover our gifts of uniqueness and inner wisdom, and discover the ways to unfold and share them in the outer world, without sacrificing ourselves.
It is time to birth our creativity and passion that may have been tucked in your closet, while making yourself busy taking care of your family and helping others. It is time to respect, honor and appreciate, give yourself the highest value for your unique fire of creativity/wisdom/skill/talent to share in this world!
Join us to explore and experience this powerful healing journey of renewal and celebration of our feminine spirits in motion.
