Mah Jongg Fever!

Play Mah Jongg with us in Seattle's International District at the Historic Panama Hotel Tea & Coffee House! Good food, good company and good fun in this very interesting building.

We play American Mah Jongg according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules and raise money for charity.

Since this is a public restaurant, we encourage everyone to purchase their beverages and snacks from the Tea Room. The staff has always been terrific! If you would like a sandwich, the Tea House prefers 2 hours advance notice; pastries and tea are always available. Their phone:[masked]-4000.

For our charity, Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, we suggest a $2 per game donation.

We start early so we can fit in more play before the Tea House closes at 9PM. But feel free to come when you can! See above for address and a link to directions to the Tea House. Open to the public - everyone is welcome! For those of you who like to plan ahead, the schedule of games is on the website. Click on the "Calendar" tab.

A fun, lively group! We had 8 people-the two full tables were nice! Three new members and returning "old" one made for a great evening. $34 raised for our charity!

I think Meetup has a local Chinese language group. Hope you can come play again! You picked up the game very quickly.

The people were great. But I was hoping for Asian Mahjong and native speakers to help me practice my Chinese.

Hi Peggy and group... I played with you a opulent of years ago when I was in Seattle. May I join you on Wednesday? Does anyone have an extra card I could borrow?

I can't attend this one, but I'm reading the beginners book and will be ready to observe a game next month I hope.
