Fifth Wednesday Mah Jongg

Play Mah Jongg with us in Seattle's International District at the Historic Panama Hotel Tea & Coffee House! Good food, good company and good fun in this very interesting building.

We play American Mah Jongg according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules and raise money for charity.

Since this is a public restaurant, we encourage everyone to purchase their beverages and snacks from the Tea Room. The staff has always been terrific! If you would like a sandwich, the Tea House prefers 2 hours advance notice; pastries and tea are always available. Their phone:[masked]-4000.

On-street parking is free after 6PM.

For our charity this month we suggest a $5 per evening donation.

We start early so we can fit in more play before the Tea House closes at 9PM. But feel free to come when you can! See above for address and a link to directions to the Tea House. Open to the public - everyone is welcome! For those of you who like to plan ahead, the schedule of games is on the website. Click on the "Calendar" tab.

Hi, I am not familiar with American style Mah Jongg. Can I come and learn how to play it?

Sorry, I won't be able to attend the Mah Jongg play this Wednesday. I hope to see you all in November. Jean

I will have to miss Wed. My mother became suddenly ill so I am in CA with her and my sister and brother. Don't know when she will be able to be on her own again. She is improving daily - a significant answer to prayer. Jean and Gayle, please don't forget your MahJongg sets!
