Mah Jongg Fever!

Play Mah Jongg with us in Seattle's International District at the Historic Panama Hotel Tea & Coffee House! Good food, good company and good fun in this very interesting building.

We play American Mah Jongg according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules and raise money for charity.

Since this is a public restaurant, we encourage everyone to purchase their beverages and snacks from the Tea Room. The staff has always been terrific! If you would like a sandwich, the Tea House prefers 2 hours advance notice; pastries and tea are always available. Their phone:[masked]-4000.

On-street parking is free after 6PM.

For our charity this month, Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, we suggest a $5 per evening donation.

We start early so we can fit in more play before the Tea House closes at 9PM. But feel free to come when you can! See above for address and a link to directions to the Tea House. Open to the public - everyone is welcome! For those of you who like to plan ahead, the schedule of games is on the website. Click on the "Calendar" tab.

This group just gets better and better! We have so much fun - it's chatter and laughter all night. Plus everyone is getting more experienced so we end up with lots of games played before the evening is over.

I can't think of a better introduction to American mahjong than this fun group. Peggy is an excellent teacher.

Hopefully I won't forget. Not sure why that's been happening lately, but somehow the past couple months I've just blown past my calendar reminder. So, hope to see you tomorrow night!

I can only play on week ends since I live in UP.

Amy, try to connect with the Saturday group. They don't advertise the games by email. Get in touch with Deb C. through this site.
