Mah Jongg Fever!

Play Mah Jongg with us in Seattle's International District at the Historic Panama Hotel Tea & Coffee House! Good food, good company and good fun in this very interesting building.

We play American Mah Jongg according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules and raise money for charity.

Since this is a public restaurant, we encourage everyone to purchase their beverages and snacks from the Tea Room. The staff has always been terrific! If you would like a sandwich, the Tea House prefers 2 hours advance notice; pastries and tea are always available. Their phone:[masked]-4000.

On-street parking is free after 6PM.

For our charity we suggest a $5 per evening donation.

We start early so we can fit in more play before the Tea House closes at 9PM. But feel free to come when you can! See above for address and a link to directions to the Tea House. Open to the public - everyone is welcome! For those of you who like to plan ahead, the schedule of games is on the website. Click on the "Calendar" tab.

Bit by bit I'm learning the game and it's been nothing but fun -- no, addicting. Thank you Peggy.

Thanks, Pete. I didn't see this before -- April just forwarded to me. I'll let you know if I luck out. Rachel

Hi Pete -- After playing phone tag for a few weeks, I was finally able to place the order this morning. Thanks again for the tip. See you Weds. Rachel

Does the event really last two days? ;p. I grew up playing Hong Kong/European style, but it has been so many years I only half remember it. Looking forward to it.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
