The Big Sleep Out & Maidenhead Festival

A festival of music, arts, crafts & the community spirit of Maidenhead at TWO WHOLE DAYS of fun, laughter, live music & entertainment ending on the greatest fireworks display of the year!

The re-branded and re-launched Maidenhead Carnival run by Enjoy Maidenhead and Maidenhead Live.

Featuring a real life BEACH! Real sand and activities! Stalls! Fairground rides! Live music! Main stage, acoustic tent and around the town centre! Feat. the biggest and best fireworks display of the year! More to be announced in the following weeks!

As a club we're also working with Rotary in Maidenhead to bring The Big Sleep Out to the town!

Every year millions of people are made homeless by natural and manmade  disasters. ShelterBox instantly responds by delivering boxes of aid. Each box  provides a family with emergency shelter and other vital  equipment for them to use, such as blankets, water purification, tool bags and  cooking equipment; while they are displaced or homeless.

But could you cope with life in a tent? The Big Sleep Out is your chance  to spend a night in one of our  disaster relief tents to see how people  live after a disaster, while at the same time raising much needed funds that  will help us to continue providing shelter, warmth and dignity to those affected  by disasters around the world.

We're looking for people to take on the challenge of sleeping in one of 10 ShelterBox tents for one night during Maidenhead Festival. Have you got what it takes?

Hi Karen, that would be great. I'll either be on stand 29 with the display tent or in the ShelterBox village from 8am on Saturday until noon on the Sunday. If you ask for me at either place someone will point you in my direction. Looking forward to seeing you
