Dear Iain and Lawrence
I wanted to let you know about the upcoming Maidenhead Boundary Walk as the members of your group might be interested in getting involved.
This annual event allows walkers to raise money through sponsorship for their favourite charities whilst enjoying a very interesting walk through some beautiful parts of the Berkshire countryside re-tracing the old boundary of the ancient town of Maidenhead in the Royal County of Berkshire. Alternatively, participants can do the walk just for fun or to help raise money for the Rotary Club's own charitable work.
There is an entry fee to take part in the event to help cover the costs of first aid attendance, insurance etc. This stands at £3 per adult and 50p per child under the age of 12.
Sunday 7th October 2012
Starting from Boulters Lock car park
9.00am to 10.30am
You can find out more information, and register online, at www.boundarywalk.org.uk.
I do hope that you and your walkers can join us
Lisa
