That question is like asking "why do you want to talk to your customers?" Social is another vehicle for which a brand can communicate with their customers. I am interested because a happy customer is a customer spending money.
Facebook - because I can run paid ads and measure a good return Youtube - promoted videos and overlays work very well for ecom stores Twitter - another customer service tool to engage

Hi I am the co-founder of a local search engine marketing company. We come from an experienced background having managed SEM/Social for an Inc top 500 company. Now we consult for a bunch of online retailers as well as service based companies.
Was a nice time. Only thing I could say which would be better was if more people turned out.
