Agent and Writer Marie Lamba

We've been trying for some time to get a literary agent to come and speak to the Main Line Writers Group.  Unfortunately, most of them live in or near New York City, and aren't tempted by the chance of a free meal at Michael's Deli to travel three hours south to talk to us.

However, agent Marie Lamba DOES live in the Delaware Valley.  So far she hasn't agreed to speak to us, but she hasn't ruled it out, either.  She is also a writer, and her Young Adult novel DRAWN is up for "Best Book of the Year" at a website called LONG AND SHORT REVIEWS.

DRAWN is currently ranked third, and is in reach of the top.  I suspect that Marie would look at us more favorably if we all voted for her book.

To vote for DRAWN, go to http://www.longands hortreviews. com/book- reviews/2012- book-of-the- year/
In the box, click on DRAWN.  Then go to the bottom of that box and hit "Vote."  That's all there is to it...you don't even have to register.

Thanks for your help, and I hope that Gary will soon announce a date for Marie Lamba to come and answer all your questions about working with a literary agent.

Best,

Wayne A. "Tony" Conaway, Vice-Organizer
