Maine Acoustic Music Players Meetup @Savory Maine

Join us for an acoustic jam at Savory Maine restaurant in Damariscotta. This is an inclusive jam, not an open mic. Members are encouraged to sing and play along the entire night.

Savory Maine serves delicious natural foods, and has beer and wine as well as other beverages! Most of us take a dinner break around 7:30. After dinner, we play until it's time to leave...that's up to the owner! Please bring cash to pay for your dinner and drinks.

There is an evolving setlist for this meetup--see the link in the left-hand column of our site. We try to get through all of the requests, some of our "semi- permanent" songs, plus about 20 more songs out of the over five hundred or so songs in our files.

If you would like to add a song to the setlist, make sure it is posted to our site in the "Files" section (see the link in the left-hand column of the site), then post your request in the "get the conversation started" section below.

Savory Maine has free Wi-Fi so you can bring a laptop or other device to access the setlist.

If you don't have a laptop or iPad,please be sure to make copies of the songs that are on the setlist and bring them with you to the meetup. A music stand is helpful but optional.

the links on the setlist do not direct to any music. Suggestions other than scanning through a list that is not alphabetized (the song files)?? Thanks!

If you click on Name/Description at the top it sorts them... click again and it reverses the sort.

I live quite a distance away but will attend as often as possible. Would love the experience of playing with others. Would it be acceptable to bring sheet music with us? Would be a big help as a newbie. Thank you in advance for a response.

Hi. I would like to see if I can play along on Monday. Can you narrow the set list on the left a bit so I don't have to print out so many pages to choose from?
