House Of Devs will be hosting HacksGiving Hackathon Nov. 8-10 in Anaheim Hills, CA. All coders/developers/designers/hackers/makers/biz devs are welcome to attend free of charge (limited space). Drinks, food, snacks, and sleeping space will be provided free of charge. Bring your swim trunks because...

What is Hacksgiving?
Hacksgiving is all-weekend gathering of passionate geeks, hackers, makers, and thinkers working on building something cool to help the community. Hacksgiving.org is about knowledge sharing, technology exploration, and ad-hoc collaboration.  Come to have fun, build things, learn things, and meet new people.

Who's Hacksgiving for?
We are a bunch of designers, developers, business devs, hackers, coders, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to give back to the community. We aim to bring creative people together for one super-productive and fun weekend. You can bring a team or find one. You can bring an idea or invent one. And at the end of the weekend -- whether you've got working code, page mockups, or just an elevator pitch -- you'll share your work with a group of people who have a common goal and purpose and that's to help the community.

What should I bring?
We'll have wifi, drinks, red bull, coffee and food. However, you're welcome to bring whatever you like for the event. Once your team is formed you can leave or stop by anytime during the weekend.  You're also welcome to crash at the house so bring a pillow, blanket, sleeping bag, snacks, monitor, power cord, towel, toothbrush, bathing suits (there'll be a swimming pool and volleyball court in the backyard), change of clothes, whatever you think you'll need for the weekend,

Proposed Schedule:
Friday, Nov. 8th
7:00pm - introductions, mingling, food and drinks
9:00pm - break into teams and start projects

Saturday, Nov. 9th
8:00am: break for breakfast
12:00pm: break for lunch (BBQ), swimming, volleyball, games, have fun!
6:00pm - break for dinner

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
