R2D2 Kegorator Meetup

Hello Machine Art Loonies. We are still meeting for the R2D2 Kegorator. Last week we got a bit done on the filing. I spent time filing a few of the cutouts on the dome and I'm fairly certain we wouldn't need any molding around the edges. It actually looks fairly good and is smooth. However, I can be talked into the molding;) In any case, I need everybody to attend and bring their A game. The weeks are passing by and we haven't made too much headway for the overall completion. Plus. I'd love to get this done for Star Wars day, if not sooner, so we wouldn't have to scramble that last week. Do you think we can? To do this, I need to assign tasks for each person and work on it during the week, specifically sounds, buttons, legs, putting in refridgerator section in the barrel, etc. Also, with these tasks, I need people to focus and work on them for our meetings. It's very easy to get into the hacker space mentality, and show off other things we've seen or have been working on, but this is a project meeting, not hacker space. When this is done, we can convert to hacker space, until there is another proposed project though, cool? I have a bit less space in the garage due to it being full of pinball machines now. These are mainly to cleanup and sell off to fund the future custom pinball project. I look forward to seeing everybody this weekend. My goal for this weekend, is to get all cutouts in the dome filed smooth. Also, make a trip to the hardware store to find a way to attach the lenses. I'd like to have a volunteer for the sound effects, to have them ready and working for the next weeks meeting. Also a volunteer to cut out the space for the refredgerator section of the barrel. This has been worked out in CAD what we need to do, just need to do it now. I look forward to seeing everybody this weekend. Please RSVP, so I don't overbuy or underbuy snackies.

i'd like to see what all the commotion is about. I always did love the prospect of a kegorator. Other than tasks, i think its always relevant on group projects to ensure that every has input and investment into the project at hand. Kudos to getting something started.

Hey Barry, I made the event repeating if that's ok with you. That way I don't have to keep making you event host every weekend. :P You should be able to still edit individual entries. Let me know if you're no ok with it.
