Make new friends and Do something new at craft workshops around London!

Welcome to Make & Do, a community craft club where you can come along to all sorts of different craft workshops which will be popping up in pubs and cafes around London.

Make & Do is a community group and all members are invited to set up meetings. You can suggest a meetup, and if a few other people like it, it will be announced to the group automatically! It's then your responsibility to make sure it runs smoothly...

Here are some tips to help you:

1. Decide on a theme
This could be a specific craft or a 'show and tell' social where you invite members to bring along their favourite craft item or book. If you want to learn something, why not find someone who knows how to do it already at one of these socials and plan a meetup together? 2. Find a venue Finding the right venues can be a difficult thing so we suggest that you look at which museums open late and use their cafe. http://www.timeout.com/london/museums-attractions/features/7710/Late_night_openings_at_London-s_museums_and_galleries.html Other venue options include:

3. Suggest the Meetup

You can do this on our club homepage, just add a date time and venue; once a few people are interested, it will be announced automatically.

4. Check the venue

Make sure your venue is suitable and available. If it's on the small side, make sure you limit the number of RSVPs (although you can expect a few naughty people not to show up without changing their RSVP!).

5. Show up early and have fun!

The best part of the process is the meetup itself, keep it friendly and encourage participants to leave a review afterwards.
